Water Security and Climate Change: Insights from Country Climate and Development Reports

The World Bank Group’s Country Climate and Development Reports (CCDRs) are designed to help countries align their development and climate goals by identifying actions that can enhance resilience, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable development. Water plays a critical role across many economic sectors—agriculture, energy, transport, forests, and fisheries—and is a key pathway through which climate change impacts are felt.
