As climate change exacerbates water-related challenges, there is a growing need for systems approaches strengthening to ensure resilient and sustainable water management. This thematic day, “Building transformational resilience: Systems approaches for climate and water management” explores and promotes innovative, integrated solutions for a resilient future.

 

The opening session aims to bring together diverse perspectives to explore how diverse sectors can contribute to systems approaches strengthening. The session will also examine how science, including AI, open science and citizen science, and bottom-up approaches can play a pivotal role in these efforts.
