The intergenerational dialogue is intended – particularly within the context of the UNFCCC to strengthen the transition of food systems towards water resilience, while safeguarding and restoring the natural resources upon which these systems depend.

This session will aim to:

  • To facilitate a dialogue between generations on the importance of integrating water resilience into
    food systems, emphasizing the role of sustainable practices in national climate commitments.
  • To share experiences, challenges, and innovative solutions related to water management and
    food security among diverse stakeholders, including youth, indigenous communities, and
    agricultural experts.
  • To promote cross-sectoral collaboration that supports the implementation of water-resilient
    practices within national adaptation plans and climate strategies.
